Course objectives
- A clear understanding of types of conflict and conflict behaviours and how they affect couple communication and attachment.
- Exploring cognitive behavioural therapy tools that enable couples to recognise the impact of their behaviour/conflict.
- Understanding how to reframe the way a couple communicates to enable behaviour change and more constructive communication.
- Recognising the impact of social media, nonverbal communication and sex on the health of a relationship.
- Understanding the stage of development that a relationship is at and how that effects relationship satisfaction.
- Being more confident to know how to encourage a couple to be reflective about their relationship/communication.
- Being able to choose the right kinds of questions that facilitate change.
