We’re keen to hear your views on our plans to reduce domestic abuse and improve support for adults and children affected by it.

Survivors have played a key role in shaping Leicestershire County Council’s draft domestic abuse reduction strategy, sharing their experiences to highlight what works well and where barriers still exist.

The strategy focusses on earlier help, better awareness, making information clearer, and stronger joint working between services.

It also sets out plans to improve access to safe accommodation and ensure children are recognised and supported as victims in their own right.
