This half term, join us for a variety of exciting events at our heritage sites and libraries!

Explore engaging workshops, interactive exhibits, and fun activities for all ages. Whether you're interested in history, arts, or community engagement, there's something for everyone to enjoy. Don't miss the opportunity to make lasting memories while discovering our location's rich culture and history!

  • Welly Adventures - 1620s House and Garden, Tuesday 18 February 10.30am to 12pm and 1pm to 2.30pm  
  • Storytelling through the Exhibition - Bosworth Battlefield Heritage Centre, Wednesday 19 February, 11.30am to 2.30pm,
  • Fairy Foraging - Bosworth Battlefield Heritage Centre, Thursday 20 February, 11am to 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 3pm  
  • My Jewellery, My Story: Fun and Storytelling - Charnwood Museum,  Friday 21 February 10am to 12pm (drop in), Wednesday 16 April, 10am to 12pm (drop in).Suitable for families with children aged 4 – 12 years, Drop in between 10am – 12noon on these special days during half term and Easter to meet Librarian Victoria at the My Jewellery, My Story exhibition. Ask for a story, find the giant beads around the museum and draw and colour your own perfect necklace.  
  • Talk with Local Jeweller, Cathy Stephens - Charnwood Musuem, Thursday 20 February, doors open from 7.00pm-7.30pm, finish time is 9.30pm.
  • Out of this World - Melton Museum, Tuesday 18 February to Saturday 22 February, 10am to 4pm, Make space in a jar (£2.50), make a rocket (free) and have a go at the planets trail around the museum (free)  
  • Wriggly Readers - Harborough Musuem, Thursday 13 February, 10.30am to 11am.

Our libraries are offering free weekly story and rhyme time sessions for young children. Visit the Your Library | Facebook page for additional half-term events.
