The NIHR Health Determinants Research Collaboration (HDRC) Leicestershire is offering grant funding to support community-led projects and activities. These projects will help explore the everyday factors that influence health such as transport, housing, safety, green spaces and employment, ensuring that local voices are at the heart of future research.
To help groups get started, HDRC Leicestershire is hosting an information workshop on Monday 1 June 2026, 12–2pm at County Hall, Glenfield, with an additional online session on 8 June 2026. The workshop will provide guidance on how to apply for funding and how to run a successful community project.
Successful applicants will receive support to deliver community events or activities that gather local insight, amplify under-represented voices, and contribute to meaningful improvements in health and wellbeing across Leicestershire.
