Across Leicestershire, we run 19 Stay and Plays from our Family Hubs. These are run by an amazing team of volunteers who give up their free time to offer 1.5hrs of fun, crafts and activities for 0-5 yr olds.
Stay and Plays are an invaluable way to help your little ones prepare for school by giving them the chance to socialise with other children in a playful environment, support their developmental milestones, experience new situations, and increase their independence with the reassurance their parent/carer is close by.
So if you’re struggling to find a playschool or nursery space, or have some free time, don’t forget these amazing groups you can pop along to which still offer fantastic experiences.
Our Family Hubs Stay and Plays also offer information and support on key family topics, have guest speakers, free access to the Family Hubs website, local community signposting and friendly support staff if you have any questions on your little one’s development.
